This release for GameDriver brings several key quality-of-life features to both Unreal Engine and Unity versions, as well as several enhancements to performance and stability, resulting in our most stable and reliable version yet! We’re also adding support for PlayStation 5 consoles, Unity 6 (preview), Unreal Engine 5.4, and more. This update is recommended for all GameDriver users.

Unreal Engine

• Added Slate Explorer feature to help identify UMG/Slate Widgets and User interface elements

• Added configurable retry for WebSockets connections

• Added PlayStation 5 support*

• Added Unreal Engine 5.4 support

• Aligned editor menus and terminology for licensing with the Unity version

• Added “wildcard” option in the Unreal editor HPath right-click menu

• Add ConsoleCommand API command for executing console commands from tests

• Updated SetObjectPosition/Rotation API calls to use world position instead of local

• Fixed an issue with the record and replay of KeyPress events

• Fixed a bug in simulating inputs on Oculus Quest devices

• Misc performance and stability fixes

Unity

• Added configurable retry for WebSockets connections

• Extending fn:count() to support all objects resolved by an HPath

• Added PlayStation 5 support*

• Added GetObjectPosition support for UIToolkit elements

• Added Unity 6 (preview) support

• Updated Scroll API to support UIToolkit elements

• Gated SmartAgent and input hooking for ease of troubleshooting

• Fixed issue with AutoPlay targeting multiple editors using regex expressions

• Fixed an issue with MouseDrag on mobile devices

• Fixed an issue with GetObjectList not returning all object
